We use a variety of teaching methods at the SVN Group
The Pedagogy at SVN Group is learner-centric aimed at development of technical, interpersonal, and conceptual management skills along with helping the students in gaining empirical insights, that will help them increase and expand their leadership potential.
We believe in adopting innovative practices in teaching with a strong practical orientation and adoption of new technology. The teaching methodology is supplemented by live projects, seminars, workshops, symposia, Guest Lectures by eminent academicians and Industry leaders
Campus Security
Safety and security is an important area of concern in educational Institutions. Many organizations both public and private have their own arrangements. To ensure a safe campus for students and staff, SVN has a robust security system. The campus is manned around the clock by well-trained security staff, male and female. Surveillance cameras are placed at strategic spots including access points.
Transportation
Transport facility is allotted on annual basis for students admitted for the duration of regular academic session. Transport facility will be allotted on First Come First Serve basis. Routes and pick up points are indicative and are subject to change from time to time. Transport facility will be provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams, Normally timings for Bus to arrive at the S.V.N will be 8:45 a.m. and departure at 4:30 p.m, unless otherwise announced by the Institute
Wi-Fi Campus
The campus provides an open access Wi-Fi network throughout, with a Hi speed Internet connection.The students can access the internet through their laptops, ipad or any other hand held devices .Through the college Local Area Network.Internet facilities in the well-equipped internet lab, providing high speed of connectivity .With this addition the college will provide internet and intranet access to all students and staff for instructional purpose on par with colleges internationally.
Auditorium
SVN Group Auditorium is a beautiful venue that plays an important role in both campus and community life. Its design and wide stage allow for excellent views throughout the hall. In addition to its design, the auditorium is the largest on-campus facility, seating an audience of 300. We provide fully air conditioned and equipped with modern teaching audio visual aids for regular seminars, conferences & other events.
Computer Labs
There are 3 computer labs with latest Software. Each Lab is equipped with 60 computers with latest hardware & UPS power backup. There are HP servers for centralize Administration and protect the data of the students. Labs include laser printers, updated software & high-speed connections to the Internet.
Conference Hall
There are several large well furnished Conference Halls in the SVN Campus and can accommodate up to 30 persons in a lecture style set up and comes equipped with a whiteboard and projection screen. Conference halls are for conducting guest lecturer symposiums, seminars, placement Training programs. etc.
Library
The SVN library system is one of the most advanced libraries in the Bareilly Region. Aside from the regular library sections, it has an Electronic Learning Center where e-books and e-journals are available.
Gymnasium
A well equipped 'Gymnasium' managed by Gym Instructor provides for the physical exercise requirements to stay fit and agile . Gym is equipped with most sophisticated equipment which are user friendly for the overall benefit of students.
Hostel
We pamper students by providing amenities and groom them to manage their routine independently, tuning students to the real aspect of life, while letting them enjoy the comforts of reading newspapers and books, providing them nutritious vegetarian food, safe drinking water, round-the-clock water supply, etc.
Indoor Out Door Sports
SVN encourages various sports activities like Cricket, Basketball, football, running, and indoor sports like Carom, Chess, and Badminton. Sports help in building the values of leadership and team spirit among the students. It also inculcates the habit of winning in the students which are very important in today’s competitive world.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria, inside the campus, provides an ideal place for students to sit together, and exchange thoughts and notes over cups of coffee and wholesome snacks served throughout the day. The lighting and the ambiance within the cafeteria are modeled on the best contemporary designs for cafeterias with comfortable seating arrangements and self-service concepts.
Industry Interaction
We provide a platform for Industry –academia interface on a regular basis. Industry leaders are invited to the campus to share their views with the students and also to provide insights about the latest developments in the various fields. This also enables us in modifying our teaching learning process to accommodate the changing requirements of a dynamic industrial scenario. Industrial visits to reputed Industrial houses are organized on a regular basis to facilitate inculcating empirical knowledge to the students of various professional courses.
Seminars
A seminar is a presentation, set on a particular topic or group of topics, put forth by an expert in the field. As we are all aware lots of researches and studies are carried out various subjects around the world. These updates on various fields cannot be included in the student curriculum. The importance of seminars is the wealth of knowledge presented and gained during them. The students have to always keep their eyes on what new things are arriving day by day.
Seminars are capable of keeping the students updated with the technologies and provide the latest information about the things which are happening in science and technology. Students cannot improve their knowledge from textbooks alone. They must take part in various seminars on latest topics. S.V.N Group of Institutions understands & gives due importance to this phenomenon and various national as well as international level seminars on different educational topics are organised on a regular basis on the campus for the benefits of students as well as teachers under faculty development programme. These events help both the students and the faculty in their capability up gradation.
