Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Higher Studies offers 2 year Diploma Program known as Diploma in Elementary Education” (D.El.Ed.) (Formally known as BTC) to trainee teachers, which approved by SCERT, UP and managed by DIET, Barabanki.
This department provides complete theoretical and practical education in emerging areas of teaching and education. The objective of the department is to create future generations of skilled teachers by providing quality education as per recommendation by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Barabanki. The elementary level educational subjects are taught to the trainee teachers. The department has qualified and motivated faculty who are highly dedicated to teaching. We provide a creative and adaptable environment to the trainee teachers, which is required for their complete development.

(PEOs)
The Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) is the objectives of the program (D. El. Ed) to prepare the trainee teachers for their academic Carrier in the field of Elementary Education offered by Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Higher Studies, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, Affiliated to State Council of Educational Research Training (SCERT), Uttar Pradesh INDIA are:
PEO-1: To aware the trainee with Teacher Education, prepare them as a good educator.
PEO-2: To mentor them with various elementary level courses for enhancing their practical and theoretical knowledge.
PEO-3: To provide knowledge about the different techniques of Measurement and Evaluation in area of education.
PEO-4: To provide knowledge of various courses such as physical education, cultural education, environmental education—–etc.
PEO-5: To provide awareness regarding school management with ethical & moral values.
Program Outcomes (POs)
PO-1: To apply the knowledge of elementary education.
PO-2: Ability to apply the pedagogical tools in teaching methods.
PO-3:- Ability to deal with current & future challenges in the field of elementary education.
PO-4: Ability to address the needs of diverse learners in elementary schools for coordination with the society.
PO-5: Ability to communicate, demonstrate and practice for delivering the curriculum effectively.
PO-6: To provide special knowledge such as physical education, environmental education, basic medical education and cultural reflective education at elementary level.

A hearty welcome to you in “The Department of Education” at “Seth Vishambhar Nath Institute of Higher Studies”. This department runs a diploma program known as “Diploma in Elementary Education” (D.El.Ed.) (Formally known as BTC). Our vision is “to provide complete elementary education along with the practical and ethical skills to trainee teachers by which they become good teachers and ready to deal with future challenges in the teaching area.” And our mission is “to provide elementary knowledge and practical skills to trainee teachers by qualified faculty, to impart humanistic and ethical skills in trainee teachers to prepare them to deal with life and teaching area challenges, to provide a nurturing and motivating environment for trainee teachers, to provide physical, cultural, and sports knowledge along with creative skills to trainee teachers.”
The department has qualified and dedicated faculty. We impart complete elementary knowledge and training to trainee teachers. We provide sound knowledge to trainee teachers in mathematics, science, computer, English education, etc. which help to analyze and solve the problem of primary students. Our trainee teachers are placed for training in government added primary school as per the curriculum of DIET, Barabanki where they learn academic practices and moral value. Our objective is to prepare them for build up a successful career in education field.
We provide opportunities for trainee teachers to work as members of a team on various activities at college.
Various activities in college provide opportunity to trainee teachers to gain knowledge and interact with staff of school. Our trainee teaches are working in reputed government schools in India.
